Fc Tshabalala from Butterworth has expressed happiness and excitement for their young talented midfielder, Orion Molton, who was selected by Keep Active Sport Development Group to be part of the squad that went to Denmark to compete in U\/17 Dana Cup last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Earlier this month a group of 19 players and technical team from Gqeberha based team, Keep Active Sport Development Group, jetted off to Denmark where they were competing with other teams from European countries in the Dana Cup competition which is meant to develop young players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
FC Tshabalala player, Orion Molton, who was selected by Keep Active Sport Development Group during the Nozulu Youth Legacy event earlier this year, when he won player of the tournament, was part of the team who went abroad and his coach, Simpiwe Siyongwana, and the entire team, were very delighted about his selection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Coach Siyongwana has highlighted that the selection of Molton is a huge achievement to the team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said that as the team they always have ambitions of helping young players to grow in football and also encourage them to school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, he said that the selection of Molton shows that they are doing something good in terms of developing players and in assisting them to have more understanding about football.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He concluded by saying that their priorities as a team are to motivate their players to put education first and football next, because they wanted their players to play in Varsity Cup competition and graduate to professional level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Keep Active Sport Development Group coach, Lwazi Sahula, speaking with Mhlobo Wenene FM last week, said that they are doing well in Denmark as they managed to won two games, lost one and finished in second place at their group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The team was expected to progress to knockout stage of the Dana Cup and this week the team will be back in SA as the competition will be wrapped.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
