ROYAL Striders Athletic Club, from Ndabakazi near Butterworth, wishes all athletes in Mnquma and surrounding areas to enjoy their festive season holidays with care and to avoid alcohol abuse. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
These remarks follow the conclusion of race events last month in Mnquma, designed to allow athletes a chance to enjoy December holidays with their families and loved ones. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the event organisers from Royal Striders Athletic Club, Lulama Tase, has expressed gratitude to all athletes who participated in the race events hosted in Mnquma this year, wishing them a joyful festive season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI want to thank all the athletes who contributed to the success of our events this year by participating. I wish them a wonderful festive season, hoping they will enjoy it with their families,\u201d said Tase. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tase noted that while it is the December holidays, they request athletes to continue maintaining their healthy lifestyle as they are needed for next year\u2019s events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, he mentioned that by hosting these race events annually, they aim to divert youth away from drugs and alcohol abuse, encouraging them to focus on school and other activities that will help them secure a better future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tase also expressed appreciation to all the sponsors who supported them during this year\u2019s race events and hopes that next year more sponsors will come on board to contribute to the development of sport in Mnquma, particularly in athletics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
