GQEBERHA – The Eastern Cape Provincial Serious and Violent Crime Investigation unit is urgently seeking the community’s assistance in locating a person of interest, Lukhanyo Mekula, who may assist in solving a mass shooting incident in\u00a0Gqeberha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to police spokesperson, Brigadier Nobuntu Gantana, on 26 April,\u00a0a shooting took place\u00a0at Wells Estate, where three died and six were seriously\u00a0injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The injured victims are currently receiving medical treatment in hospital,” she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Lukhanyo Mekula is urged to contact Sergeant Yali on 082 066 0329, or call Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or the MySAPSApp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
