Radio presenter Ntobeko Fiko is appealing for votes.

Ntobeko Fiko, a radio presenter at Ngwane FM in Mthatha, is calling for public support through votes after his nomination for the Best Community Radio Presenter at the Tembi and Tembisile Awards, set to take place in Lusikisiki on July 20.

Fiko hosts Masivukeni Mawethu every Monday and Tuesday from 03:00 to 06:00.

He shared the challenges of his show’s timing, noting the difficulty of travelling to the station at 01:00. Despite these challenges, his love for his work drives him.

In light of Youth Month, Fiko emphasised the importance of young people pursuing their passions and making wise decisions.

“During Youth Month, I urge the youth to follow their hearts but to make choices that lead to a better future,” he stated.

Fiko is appealing to his supporters for votes by sending an SMS with the code TATA047 to 40439. Each SMS costs R2.00.
