According to the Programme Manager for Sajonisi Youth Radio (SYR), Mjabuliseni Mzimela, Matandabuzo was not only a presenter, but he also managed to start a new programme called Khuzeka that was hosted annually in Port St Johns.
The aim of this programme was to educate young people about the danger of using alcohol and drugs.
It was an annual event and was hosted on December 16.
He was someone who was very dedicated and always showed respect to others.
“Matandabuzo hosted different shows, like Kuya Bonelelwa, which was starting at 04:00 to 06:00 on weekdays; Umkhumbi ka Nowa from 06:00 to 08:00, then Iingelosi Zezulu from 08:00 to 09:00 (Sunday school programme),” said Mzimela.
He confirmed that Matandabuzo joined SYR in 2017 as a radio presenter. He then left the station in August this year to join Unitra Community Radio (UCR FM).
