The Mthatha based Serious Organised Crime Investigation of the Directorate for Priority Crimes investigation (Hawks) seeks assistance in locating a man whom they believe could be of help in unlocking a murder case.
On the evening of July 29, 2022, it is alleged that the deceased Sergeant Zukiswa Cynthia Menyani (53) who was attached to Dalasile Police Station was at her place of residence in Ntaka Locality, Ngxoki Administration Area in Ngcobo when two unknown males arrived and fired shots at her with pistols, fatally wounding her.
Five cartridges and one bullet head were picked up at the crime scene. The motive for the murder is still not known and no arrests have been made yet.
