Police recovered the bodies of three children, aged 6 -8 years, from the Mngazi River in Port St Johns on Saturday, 5 November.
Captain Namhla Mdleleni, police spokesperson, said it is alleged that boys from Mantusini Locality went to swim on Friday, 4 November and they never came back.
“A search was conducted and the boys were found, already dead,” Mdleleni said.
Three cases of inquest is under investigation.
