WILLOWVALE, Eastern Cape – Eastern Cape police are asking the publics help to locate Thubelihle Mfanyana, a 10-year-old boy who has been missing for two months after he disappeared on 1 January.

Thubelihle was last seen at Xazini Beach, Willowvale, at about 10:00 but never returned home.

Police spokesperson, Colonel Siphokazi Mawisa, said according to witnesses, Thubelihle was wearing shorts, but they were not sure about the colour.

She noted that preliminary investigations were conducted and K9 Search and Rescue members conducted a search on 4 January, but unfortunately the boy was not found.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen Thubelihle to please contact Willowvale Detective Sergeant Zola Majebe on 082 441 8301 or report to the nearest police station or anonymously on the SAPS CrimeStop number 08600 10111.

Any information received will be treated with confidentiality.
