Maskandi singer, Philani Mhlekwa, known as Mshungu from KwaSilangwe locality in Mbizana, has released his second album titled mnike. He said that his album consists of 12 songs and was released in December 2022.
“This is my second album; the first one I released in 2021 with 12 songs. It gave me power to release an album which showed that I can go forward with the music. I chose this kind of music because it is the music that was played at home,” said Mshungu.
He added that he is currently still busy promoting the album. Besides this, Mshungu is also busy shooting the music video from one of his songs which is titled Eastern Cape Hella.
He confirmed that he had started shooting it in the celebration ceremony that was hosted by a well-known maskandi singer, Mlindelwa Mralatya, that was held in Mbizana recently. He said that those who might be interested in getting his music can contact him on 073 312 1029.
