Mayor for Ntabankulu Local Municipality, Councillor Tsileng Sobuthongo, accompanied by members of the Executive Committee and management, held a Business Breakfast with local business property owners.
Spokesperson for the Ntabankulu Local Municipality, Lungisile Mzanywa, said that the purpose of the engagement was to establish and strengthen relations between the municipality and aforementioned stakeholder to ensure the aesthetic outlook of the town and find ways to channel critical infrastructure development into their town.
“The session was characterised by robust and fruitful engagements by the business property owners. The municipality also presented ways to meet each other halfway in ensuring that a conducive environment is being created for business to prosper,” said Mzanywa.
Municipal mayor Sobuthongo said that the municipality is facilitating critical development in the urban area to improve and complement strides made by business property owners.
“These municipal initiatives include Small Town Revitalisation funded by the Office of the Premier, wherein serious road upgrades are being done, Construction of Agricultural College Campus in town, among others,” said Sobuthongo.
She added that these initiatives are expected to induce development from all facets.
