The director for Kwa-khanya Event, Thulani Hlongwane, confirmed that they will host their fifth Heritage Celebration at Ngolo location in Libode, on September 23.

He said the aim of this celebration is to remind people to love and respect their culture; it will start at 8:30 until late.

“To ensure that we are fulfilling our dream, we have invited traditional artists from KwaZulu-Natal and here in the Eastern Cape. Some of the legends that will be entertaining us are an award-winning South African Gospel singer, Lusanda Mcinga, and the legendary maskandi singer, Mlindelwa Mralatya, known as Nkunzemdaka,” said Hlongwane.

He said that they also wanted to ensure that local artists who are still new in this industry get a chance to network with the legends from the music industry so that they can get more knowledge.

“Since we are expecting a lot of people on this day, we appeal to parents to leave their children at home for their safety. Those children who accompany them, we will treat as adults.

He said that tickets will be sold at R50 each, but the tickets sold on the day, at the entrance will be sold at R80.
