A gospel artist from Tsilithwa locality in Qumbu, Ezile Jikijela, aims to inspire and give hope to those who are hopeless, by means of his music.
He confirmed that to fulfil his mission he released a seventh album, titled Ndonyamezela, in December 2023. According to him this album consists of 10 songs, which include Uzunga vumi Yesu soyiswe, Uyaphila owam uThixo and Lukhangela kuwe.
“I grew up in a family who always made sure that every Sunday we go to church. My parents were strict about it, so I ended up joining church choir and other things that are related to religion. I used to listen to different kinds of music, but gospel was the one where I always feel something when listening to it,” said Jikijela.
He added that both young and old people are listening to his music, because it caters for both groups.
According to him he will be releasing another album very soon, but for now he is busy promoting the one he has released recently.
“I released my album in December last year, but it was registered fully in January in the digital stores.”
