eMaxesibeni – The detectives from the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) in eMaxesibeni have released composite sketches of seven rape suspects who lure victims with job opportunities via Facebook.
According to the police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli, these suspects allegedly operate in areas such as Ndunge, Mhlanga and Ntshamathe in Mbizana.
He said the criminal cases occurred between January 2023 and May 2024.
“Police are appealing to the community for assistance in tracing the unknown suspects. Anyone with any information that could assist the investigating team is urged to contact a team leader on 079 520 3586,” he added.
