The Director for Gwaji Media Production, Lelethu Gwaji, confirmed that they had produced a new film titled Series of Temptations to ensure that Christians may have their own film that educates and focuses on them.

Aside from being the director, Lelethu is a professional teacher at Khanyisa High School, teaching Dramatic Arts in Grades 10 to 12.

The film was shot in Mthatha at Khanyisa High School recently.

“It is a 25-minute film, not a feature. I have a lot of films that I have produced with the director of Belong Media Productions, Aphiwe Mtetendeni.

Among the films is Dis-Speak-able Deeds, which was shot in Mthatha, and Out from The Darkness, which was shot in Port St Johns,” said Gwaji.

He added that they also shot a documentary about Imfuduko YemiDushane from Kwelera locality, Mooi-Plaas to Ncera in East London.

He confirmed that this film is more Christian-based.

According to him, Christians usually do not participate in filming and production.

“I want them to participate, and I want to establish Christian films so that may not be left out in today’s dynamic technology.

“Also, I wish that Christians may also go on to act and become the best actors too.”

He confirmed that it is available on Youtube.

Among the actors were Msindisi Gantsa, Thembile Vacu and his daughter, Amahle Vacu, Buzwayo Liyema, Bongisa Angeness Zonke Notshekem, Zukisa Sokhasi and Chwayita Siphiva.

One of the actors in this film, Prince Zukisani Ndamase, said that he was happy to be one of the actors in this film.

“It teaches a lot about Christianity, so Christians can know the challenges and how to overcome them.

“This will make us to grow spiritually,” said Ndamase.

He said that he is playing the pastor in this series.
