Six people were shot dead in another Eastern Cape mass shooting in Qumbu on Sunday, October 7.
Provincial police spokesperson warrant officer Majola Nkohli said four other people were taken to hospital for treatment.
“The incident occurred last night, where unknown suspects pounced and shot at the victims. The motive for the shooting is unclear at this stage,” Nkohli said.
The incident follows another mass shooting in Lusikisiki in which 18 people were killed two weeks ago.
This is a developing story.
