The founder of the Christmas Chilling event, Sifungo Maranjana, confirmed that they will host the second annual Christmas Chilling event at Skere’s Homestead in eMatshamba locality in Elliotdale on December 25, starting at 15:00 until late.

Maranjana said that in order to make this event successful, he has worked with Solulele Ngwane.

He said that their intention is to make sure that the youth from their area need not be travelling to other areas for Christmas Day, as some of them end up being victims of crime.

“We started to host this kind of event last year, and it was very successful, which is why we decided to do it again this year,” he said.

He added that they want people to spend this special day in one place, because some people are staying far from home due to work, so when they come home for the December holidays it’s nice to have something fun to do.

Maranjana confirmed that this event is for adults between 18 and 35 years old, and not suitable for children. Those who are attending are welcome to bring camping chairs.

He said tickets are sold at R250 each (they include all the meals and drinks) and are available from them and also will be sold in the entrance on the day of the event.

Those who want to get more information can contact them via VhatsApp or call 076 101 0302 or 078 362 7441.
