It is 90 years since the first Border 100, otherwise known as the First South African Grand Prix, raced at the East London Grand Prix circuit in 1934. That far longer racetrack shared several aspects of the current circuit, which is celebrating its 65th birthday this year. Local racing enthusiasts can look forward to an action packed fifth round Extreme Festival at the circuit on Saturday, July 27.
