This event is a community-driven project where Cupcake Angels \u2018bake\u2019 a difference in the lives of children with cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cupcakes of Hope is a non-profit company and public benefit organisation started by Sandy Cipriano in 2012. Their mission is to raise awareness of childhood cancer and funds for kids with cancer who are in need of medical and financial assistance. They do this predominantly through their love of ba-king cupcakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What sets them apart from other charities is that they ask volunteers to \u2018bake\u2019 a difference in the lives of their cancer warriors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cipriano says, \u201cWe believe that everyone can make a difference in this world; all you need is a bit of time and loads of love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe only requirement to become a Cupcake Angel is that your cupcakes must be made with love. The dedication and love from our amazing volunteers have enabled us to bless so many kids fighting cancer over the years. Our Cupcake Angels range from as young as three to ninety-year-olds \u2013 from scholars to lawyers and pensioners.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To take part on National Cupcake Day, visit www.cupcakesofhope.org to find your nearest participating mall; contact the mall co-ordinator to make your pledge of 24 or 48 cupcakes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
