This famous treat from Holland, pronounced strope-wa-fell, are handmade by the learners from the Victory4All Skills Centre in Humansdorp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBy buying a stroopwafel from the Soete Swaan, residents are supporting the skills centre that teaches learners who have a disability or have fallen in behind in school work and life skills,\u201d says Derk Oosterveld from Victory4All Projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBut the best part is, thanks to the stroopwafels, multiple teenagers have a workplace and, because of that, a better perspective on the future.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Oosterveld, they have been struggling to get the recipe of the stroopwafels as perfect and flawless as possible \u2013 which they finally got right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDuring the first few weeks, if might have been possible that residents bought a packet of stroopwafels with a flaw in it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
