RISING star of South African comedy, Alfred Adriaan, will deliver his solo debut special, Dating Life<\/i>, at the Protea Hotel by Marriott Port Elizabeth Marine on November 30 and December 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Adriaan has shot through the ranks of local comedy, garnering no fewer than five coveted Savanna Comics Choice Awards nominations in four years and invitations to perform in New York City and Sydney. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This first outing chronicles his formative years in the town of Hankey, his calamitous transition to the relative metropolis of Johannesburg and the dating of its residents. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Spoiled, handicapped children, awkward sexual encounters and drunk potential parents-in-law all conspire to wreak havoc on this bright and humble odd-ball\u2019s twenties and thirties. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The audience will get a blow by blow account, laid out in hysterical detail and delivered in the loveable, frenzied and incredible style quickly taking Adriaan to the top of the comedy heap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
