Visitors to the annual Oyster Bay Christmas Market and Family Fun Day at Brander Street from 09:00 on December 19, can look forward to mouthwatering biscuits, meat, pancakes, flowers, dairy products, home made jam, cakes, sweet treats, clothing and handmade gifts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There will also be sand-boarding and horse rides on the beach for the children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Adrenalin-junkies can enjoy a 6km- and 12km family fun run to Klippenpunt at 07:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The dog show will take to the red carpet at 09:30. Dog owners can enter their four-legged friends into three different categories: cutest dog, most look-alike and champion dog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The entry fee is R25 per dog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At 11:00, local and visiting beauties will have the chance to take to the stage. They can either compete to be crowned Mej. Skulpie or Mnr. Seekat (3 to 8 years), or Mej. Meermin or Mnr. Shark (9 to 13 years). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The entry fee is R25 per person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The local fire department will entertain festival-goers at 12:00, followed by Carols by Flash Light at 20:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
