\n \u201cThis statistic and the results in general are in line with expectations and our internal examinations, and an improvement on last year\u2019s results,\u201d says Woodridge Marketing and Co<\/span>mmunications Manager Lynn Niemann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The top performer for 2018 is Shimeon Botes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition to completing UNISA Grade 8 music and Trinity ATCL examinations, he achieved eight distinctions, with 96% for Mathematics being his stand-out achievement.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n Ten other learners also achieved a Mathematics distinction, with the overall number of distinctions across all subjects totaling 93. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Julia Hayward achieved six distinctions, while Jessica Cormick, Alison Soutar and Christopher Yerolemou all obtained five distinctions. Christopher achieved 95% for both Mathematics and Accounting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dr Catherine Logie, Woodridge Director of Academics says, \u201cWe are very proud of what the 2018 matric class has achieved
