region.<\/p>\n<p>The interruption is necessary for new installation work and planned maintenance by Eskom.<\/p>\n<p>Kouga Infrastructure and Engineering Portfolio Councillor Freddy Campher says areas to be affected include Jeffreys Bay, Humansdorp, St Francis Bay, Cape St Francis, Oyster Bay, Hankey, Patensie and Loerie.<\/p>\n<p>Areas excluded are Thornhill and the Gamtoos River Mouth area, whose power is supplied by the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro Municipality.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe would like to remind residents that all electrical appliances should be treated as live during the down period,\u201d
