Police in St Francis Bay are investigating a case of murder
\nafter it was alleged that a police officer spotted a dead body while conducting
\na routine patrol in Tarragona Street, St Francis Bay on October 11.\u00a0<\/p>\n
According to police spokesperson, Sergeant Majola Nkohli, the
\nbody of the woman was seen lying on the roadside at about 19:00.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cAn ambulance was summoned, and the woman was declared dead
\non the scene,\u201d said Nkohli.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThe deceased, who was later identified as Marelese Rollison
\n(30), sustained several bruises in the upper body.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Nkohli said a case of murder was opened for further
\ninvestigation.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Police are urging anyone with information that could lead to
\nthe arrest of the suspect(s) to contact the investigating officer, Detective
\nWarrant Officer Lwazi Solombela on 071 475 1831. The information may also be
\nshared via Crime Stop on 08600 10111.<\/p>\n
