Police in Humansdorp are investigating a case of robbery
\nwith aggravating circumstances after at least 10 armed men stormed into a Wind
\nFarm site and attacked a security guard in Oyster Bay outside Humansdorp on
\nSaturday, January 23.<\/p>\n
According to police spokesperson, Sergeant Majola Nkohli, the incident took place on Saturday at about 03:00.<\/p>\n
\u201cA security guard alleged that he was held at gunpoint and
\ntied with cable ties,\u201d said Nkohli.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is further said that the suspects broke padlocks of the
\ncontainers and stole nine rolls of copper cables valued around R 1 800 000
\nbefore fleeing the scene in two unknown vehicles.\u201d<\/p>\n
Nkohli said no person was injured during the incident.<\/p>\n
A case of robbery aggravating was opened for further
\ninvestigation.<\/p>\n
Police are urging anyone with information that could lead to
\nthe arrest of the suspects to contact the nearest police station. Information
