Police were called to the Dolphin\u2019s Beach in Jeffreys Bay,
\nwhere an Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) employee had discovered the
\nbody of a newborn baby hidden inside a rubbish bin this morning, February 17.<\/p>\n
According to police spokesperson Sergeant Majola Nkohli, at
\nabout 09:00 today, one of the EPWP employees alleged that she was cleaning one
\nof the rubbish bins in Dolphin Beach, when she discovered the body of a newborn
\nbaby boy stashed in a plastic bag.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cPolice opened a case of concealment of birth for further
\ninvestigation,\u201d said Nkohli.<\/p>\n
The police are appealing to the community to come forward
\nwith information that will assist in the investigation.\u00a0 The information
\nmay be shared with the investigation officer, Detective Sergeant Monwabisi
