\n RESIDENTS and visitors<\/span> can put their taste buds to the test \u2013 tasting from caramel to aloe and fynbos and even sea salt. <\/p>\n

Where?<\/p>\n

Pabala Private Nature Reserve, situated between Loerie and Hankey in the Gamtoos Valley, offers a unique honey tasting and bee education experience for young and old. <\/p>\n

The sweet experience consists of a short educational talk about the importance of bee conservation, followed by the highlight of the event: the delicious honey tasting \u2013 pure honey from the bees at Pabala. <\/p>\n

There might even be an opportunity to taste honey straight from a hive \u2013 quite a sticky, but mouth-watering, affair. <\/p>\n

The reserve is currently home to more than 200 hives, which are set to be increased to 600 in the next two years. <\/p>\n
