In a bid to save water, the Kouga Municipality informed
\nresidents on July 6, that they have turned off the taps at various municipal public
\nfacilities.<\/p>\n
One such facility which has been affected includes the taps
\nto the baths at Jeffreys Bay Caravan Park.<\/p>\n
\u201cHoliday makers at the Jeffreys Bay Caravan Park will only
\nbe allowed to shower, the section with the baths will be closed.\u201d <\/p>\n
According to the municipality, some of the ablution facilities
\nat the main beach area will also be closed while the showers at the main beach
\nwill remain closed.<\/p>\n
The announcement follows as the municipality continues to encourage
\nresidents to save water to avoid taps running dry in the drought-stricken area.<\/p>\n
