Also on the Christmas wish list are beautiful clothes, toiletries, and stationery. Not to forget the truck and new shoes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKouga Municipality, in conjunction with Fountains Mall, will once again be collecting new gifts for more than 400 Grade R to Grade 7 learners from Loerieheuwel Primary School,\u201d said Kouga Executive Mayor, Horatio Hendricks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHowever, we cannot do it alone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe appeal to all our employees and residents to open their hearts \u2013 and their wallets \u2013 to help spread some Christmas joy this December. Without your support this project would fail.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to Hendricks, the project forms part of the Keep Kouga Caring narrative \u2013 one of seven narratives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How it works<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each learner has written his or her special wish onto a Christmas card, with their name and age \u2013 a card which they have coloured in themselves.<\/p>\n<p>These cards will be displayed on the Christmas tree in the forecourt at Pick n Pay in Fountains Mall from Thursday, November 3.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cResidents are able to select a card (or cards) that touches their heart and purchase the gift written on the card,\u201d said Hendricks. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cResidents can either wrap the presents themselves or have them wrapped by the Kouga Municipality team.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe name, surname and grade of the learner must be clearly marked on the present.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gifts can be dropped off at the Kouga Municipality office at 33 Da Gama Road or at Centre Management at Fountains Mall during working hours before Friday, December 2.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHelp us to make a joyful difference in the lives of these deserving children and help keep Kouga
