The\u00a0coastal town of Cape St Francis is set to host the grand finale of the highly anticipated Rip Curl GromSearch from September 29 to October 1, drawing the best junior surfers from across South Africa.<\/p>\n

This year the spotlight will shine brightly on the premier u\/16 division, where the winners will not only claim the coveted winner\u2019s trophy, but also walk away with a R6 000 cash prize.<\/p>\n

The tournament is a Surfing South Africa event and will have u\/12 boys and girls\u2019, u\/14 boys and girls\u2019, u\/16 boys and girls\u2019, and u\/18 boys and girls\u2019 divisions competing.<\/p>\n

The competition is a premier SAST event, with 1 000 points for the winners and prize money per premier event.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re looking forward to having the final event leg of the 2023 Rip Curl GromSearch series at Seal Point,\u201d said Rip Curl South Africa CEO, Stuart Daykin.<\/p>\n
