JEFFREYS BAY<\/strong> – Jeffreys Bay resident, Gianni Dembech, has published his first book, marking the culmination of over a decade of research into forbidden archaeology and ancient enigmas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Key of Atlantis – The Guardians of the Secret, published under the pen name, Graeme Penroth, was released on Amazon on 27 October in both e-book and paperback formats.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Italian-born author, who moved to Jeffreys Bay four years ago, describes his debut work as belonging to the archeo-mystery thriller genre.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dembech said that the self-published book weaves together elements drawn from theories on ancient enigmas and lost civilisations, blending esoteric knowledge, paleoastronomy, and ancient technology.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“A red thread runs through the narrative, beginning with Atlantis, its origins and the reasons for its disappearance, and continuing through the origins of the Ark of the Covenant all the way to the present day,” said Dembech.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said that the inspiration for the book came from a fundamental question that has long intrigued him.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“What if part of our ancient history was never told but deliberately kept hidden?” said Dembech.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I’ve always had a strong interest in forbidden archaeology, in those places around the world that guard impossible structures, indecipherable symbols, and traces left behind in old manuscripts.”\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elaborating on the novel, Dembech said that it follows young Frederick as he uncovers an ancient artefact in Namibia’s Forbidden Zone, a plate with symbols allegedly belonging to the priestly guardians of the Ark of the Covenant.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This discovery leads to revelations about Atlantis and a form of technological knowledge of alien origin, kept secret for millennia.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It is a work of fiction, yet firmly grounded in established theories, authentic locations, and real historical facts,” said Dembech.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The extensive research behind the book reflects his lifelong interests.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dembech said that he has been interested in mysterious archaeology, the history of civilisations and religions, ancient and modern mysteries, ufology, parapsychology, and esotericism since he was a young boy.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since various life commitments contributed to the extended timeline for completing the book, he said that over 10 years after he began researching the information for his book, it was only once he felt calmer and freer that he could gather the knowledge and insights he had accumulated over the years into a book.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dembech said that he hopes readers, while enjoying his book, will realise that reality is far more complex than we believe, and more intricate than what we have been told.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The Key of Atlantis \u2013 The Guardians of the Secret aims to represent the human ability to seek answers beyond accepted boundaries, and the courage to step beyond the threshold of the familiar,” said Dembech.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We cannot retreat into our comfort zone; we must go beyond appearances and conventions because truth, as we believe we know it, often becomes blurred and hides itself from those who do not want to see.”\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Dembech plans to launch his book throughout the Kouga region soon, the book is available on Amazon for purchase or directly from him.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
