The U\/19A rugby matches will be the highlight of two massive inter-school events this coming Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Framesby will be making the trip from Gqeberha to Humansdorp to resume their rivalry with Nico Malan.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the other inter-school battle, DF Malherbe will be hosting Despatch in Gqeberha.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Various events leading up to this weekend’s action will take place at all these schools to set the scene and get everyone motivated to produce their very best on the sports fields.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
DF Malherbe and Despatch will compete in netball, hockey, tennis, chess, golf and cross-country, but rugby will have the final say about who will go away with the bragging rights.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These two schools have produced very exciting and competitive rugby matches in recent years. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nico Malan will be looking for a third consecutive victory against Framesby.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They beat Framesby 21-17 in Humansdorp two years ago in a real thriller and followed up with a convincing 14-8 victory in Gqeberha last year.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both teams will be full of confidence after solid victories this past Saturday. Nico Malan got the better of Punt, winning 24-17, and Framesby beat Marlow Landbou 27-0.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nico Malan and Framesby will both be eager to end their year on a high note, and the spectators \u2014 there will be plenty \u2014 can look forward to another closely contested match.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For most schools in Nelson Mandela Bay, it will be the last rugby weekend of the year. They will no doubt want to make it a memorable one.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Every team will be motivated to end the season on a high, and plenty of action-packed matches can be expected at all the venues.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pearson will be hosting Die Brandwag (Kariega) in what should be a spectacular match. Pearson is back from a visit to the Western Cape and will have to regroup quickly for the new challenge.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Parel Vallei beat Pearson 20-10, and it is not going to get any easier against Die Brandwag. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The visitors will be full of confidence after beating Daniel Pienaar 26-0 in the Kariega Derby.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Grey High finished their traditional fixtures last Saturday. Unfortunately for the Gqeberha side, they could not end their campaign with a victory.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Selborne College beat Grey 27-14 in East London. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The scores were level at 14-14 at half-time, but Grey made too many mistakes in the second half to stay in touch.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
