THE Graaff-Reinet CSS (Christian Social Services) held its annual general meeting on Wednesday, August 8, to inform people in the community of the work being done by the CSS. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The chairperson and the social workers from the two branches (Graaff-Reinet and Willowmore) gave their reports and the auditor\u2019s report was discussed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A new board was nominated and will be announced in due time. During the meeting, the members of the board and the social workers distributed some comforters to the poor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
These individuals were identified by the CSS social worker and the CSS board. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The money for the comforters was donated by the Rev Buisman of the Asher Trust and the CSS bought the 12 comforters at a discounted price at the local Pick n Pay, which is owned by Mr and Mrs Wadeloo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
