RESIDENTS from Graaff-Reinet and surrounding areas will have an opportunity to hear the talent of a seasoned organist live when he brings his annual tour to Trinity Methodist Church this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
No\u00ebl-Jean Creille currently resides in Port Alfred. He studied organ, singing, piano and composition at the then University of the Orange Free State. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the summer and winter vacations he took master classes with the famous organist, Mari\u00e9-Claire Alain, at the Sorbonne in Paris, France. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Creille continued his studies with Professor Gerrit Bon and obtained his M Mus. His doctoral study and research dealt with organ building. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Creille\u2019s annual tour will take him overseas to perform in Leipzig, Passau, Munich, Ripon, Durham and Rome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He will be performing at Trinity Methodist Church in Caledon Street, Graaff-Reinet on October 25 a \u201cSunset\u201d recital at 18:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On October 27 at 10:00 a different recital programme will include a Songs of Praise section where the audience will be invited to join in. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The cost is R100 per person per recital or R150 to attend both. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
