THE driving licence testing centre at the Beyers Naud\u00e9 Local Municipality (BNLM) has been closed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
An audit revealed the number of staff required to be non-compliant with the Department of Transport\u2019s standard requirements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe municipality is tending to compliance requirements and will communicate when application for drivers\u2019 and learners\u2019 licences will be reopened,\u201d municipal mana-ger Dr Edward Rankwana said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
BNLM has said that licence applicants can visit the Willowmore offices in the interim. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, the renewal of drivers\u2019 licences and vehicle registration will not be affected, and residents can still acquire these from the Graaff-Reinet Traffic Department\u2019s offices. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
