Union High School launched a Trolley Dash fund-raiser in partnership with the local Pick n Pay and hundreds of raffle tickets were sold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last Sunday afternoon the three winners, Zar\u00e9 Grobler (three-minute dash), Phillida Kingwill (two-minute dash), and James Rose-Innes (one-minute dash), gathered at Pick n Pay to run through the aisles filling their trolleys with whatever their hearts desired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The winners were joined by teacher, Lou-Anne Gerber\u2019s very excited Grade 6G class and their parents. The Grade 6G class sold the most raffle tickets and were therefore invited to join in the fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cheryl Waddelow from Pick n Pay then also allowed Gerber, with the encouragement of her class, to have a 30-second dash for an end-of-year class party.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
