Police in Graaff-Reinet are investigating the murder of
\n41-year-old Andr\u00e9 Steenkamp in Angora Street, Kroonvale (Graaff-Reinet), after he sustained multiple head injuries after allegedly talking to a 34-year-old suspect on Saturday, 24 April. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to police spokesperson, Captain Bradley Rawlinson,
\nit is alleged that on Saturday at about 01:30 Graaff-Reinet Police were
\ninformed that Steenkamp had been found by a resident in Angora Street after
\nthe resident alleged that she heard people talking outside the house. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe resident alleges that she later found the deceased
\nlying on the ground where he was bleeding from his head,\u201d said Rawlinson. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said Graaff-Reinet EMS Personnel were notified and on
\ntheir arrival they found Steenkamp had sustained multiple head injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His body was taken to Graaff-Reinet
\nmortuary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe suspect was arrested and will appear at the Graaff
\nReinet Magistrate\u2019s Court soon,\u201d said Rawlinson. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
