A
\nsuccessful combined operation lead to the arrest of two suspects and the
\nrecovery of stolen property on July 8, in Whittlesea, a few kilometres outside
\nof Komani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According
\nto police spokesperson Captain Ursula Roelofse, on Friday, July 8, at about
\n16:00, positive information was received by members of Crime Intelligence about
\ntwo men who were in possession of suspected stolen property at a house in Sada
\nlocation in Whittlesea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe
\ninformation was immediately followed up together with the Whittlesea detectives
\nand the operation was conducted successfully with the arrest of two suspects aged
\n22 and 23,\u201d said Roelofse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She
\nsaid the investigation continued on July 10, at about 14:00 where a follow up
\nwas made by the Whittlesea detectives who searched a house at Sada locality and
\nthe following stolen property were recovered, a Dell laptop, computer
\nkeyboard, mouse, camera, glass storage bag, sunglasses, bandages, phone
\ncharger and braai firelighters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The value of the stolen property is R6500. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The
\nDistrict Commissioner Mayor General Rudolph Adolph commended the members on the
\nsuccessful combined operation that made the successful arrests and recoveries
\npossible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThank
\nyou to the community for the positive information and that they reject and
\nreport the stolen goods,\u201d said Adolph.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
