This week belongs to the Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency (ECPTA) as they officially launched their 2022 Summer Campaign on December 1, at the Wild Coast Sun in Port Edward. <\/p>\n

\n

The launch was aimed at promoting and driving domestic tourism during this coming festive season, especially the Wild Coast Region. <\/p>\n

\n

MEC for Finance, Economic Development, Environmental Affairs and Tourism in the Eastern Cape Mlungisi Mvoko was the keynote speaker of the official launch. <\/p>\n

\n

Mvoko said the Eastern Cape performed well in 2021 in the tourism industry and applauded the tourism industry in his province for ensuring that they always strive to offer the best quality services.? <\/p>\n

\n

\u201cThe Eastern Cape performed well last year and became number one in the country. It is because of the wonderful work done by the Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency we see our province at the top,\u201d said Mvoko. <\/p>\n

\n

Executive Mayor of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela Local Municipality Councillor Dan Mafumbatha welcomed everyone and said the Alfred Nzo District is the attractive area of tourism in the Eastern Cape. <\/p>\n

\n

Eastern Cape Premier Oscar Mabuyane was recently in the Alfred Nzo District Municipality to handover the longest bridge in the African continent which means the area will continue to attract tourists. <\/p>\n

\n

Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency invites everyone to explore authentic Eastern Cape offerings this summer. <\/p>\n
