I\u2019m happy with the attention I\u2019m getting and I\u2019m hoping to use it to influence other young people to have a positive outlook on life,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyile obtained 89% in history, 92% in tourism, and 93% in geography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, she got 95% in mathematical literacy, 90% in life orientation, 86% in Xhosa, and 76% in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyile, who lives in a shack with her mom, aunt, and sister, has been accepted to study a Bachelor of Law and she has received the MEC of education\u2019s bursary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLearners should listen to their teachers because they know best. Be committed to your studies and stay away from drugs and alcohol,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>School principal Nkosinathi Mbutuma said he was proud of Beyile\u2019s achievement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cShe did not allow her background to limit her. This is my message, that learners must rise above their circumstances,\u201d said Mbutuma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He further said learners need to stay
