DESPATCH <\/strong>– Following the fatal shooting of a Despatch woman<\/a> (36) outside her home, SAPS Despatch have also launched a separate investigation into the double murder of two men that occurred the following day in Despatch, and are appealing to anyone with information to contact the investigating officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to SAPS spokesperson Captain Andr\u00e9 Beetge, it is alleged that on 25 May, at about 21:10, SAPS Despatch was alerted to a shooting incident in Khozi Street, Khayamnandi, Despatch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Upon arrival, the bodies of Xabise Mfengu (29) and Phathuxolo Mtalana (33) were found inside a house in Khozi Street with gunshot wounds to their heads and upper bodies,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beetge added that a 27-year-old female victim was also wounded in her hand during the shooting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The motive for the shooting is unknown, as are the suspects.<\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

He stated that two murder cases have been opened and are being investigated by SAPS Despatch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
