Op 8 Mei vanjaar vier Afrikaans sy eeufees as amptelike taal en jy is genooi. Daar is alles van
\nmusiekkonserte tot kuiers om lang tafels om hierdie mylpaal in Afrikaans te
\nvier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afrikaans is veel, veel ouer as \u2019n honderd jaar, maar op 8 Mei 1925 het dit, naas Engels, een van
\nSuid-Afrika se amptelike tale geword en n\u00e1 1994 het dit daardie status behou.
\nDis een van die jongste w\u00eareldtale en het in die relatiewe kort geskiedenis een
\nvan die mees dinamiese tale geword. Dis \u2019n taal wat steeds groei, skep en blom
\nin al sy diversiteit. Afrikaans is inklusief en vriendelik, mededeelsaam en
\nalmal se taal wat hom praat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Afrikaans 100-fees
\nskop op 8 Mei in Kaapstad af, maar die fees maak ook \u2019n draai in die Paarl,
\nGenadendal en Pretoria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uit die mond<\/em>, \u2019n musikale viering van die Afrikaanse taal, moet
\nnie misgeloop word nie. Met Amanda Strydom, Coenie de Villiers, Emo Adams,
\nFrazer Barry, Lynelle Kenned en Nicole Holm beloof hierdie om \u2019n uitsonderlike
\nviering van Afrikaanse musiek te wees. Die konserte is op 10 en 11 Mei in
\nDurbanville en op 28 en 29 Mei in Pretoria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
