\nholidays 09:00 to 14:00.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

STANFORD<\/strong> is open
\nweekdays from 08:00 till 17:00 and Saturdays and public holidays from 09:00 to
\n14:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PEARLY BEACH<\/strong> is
\nopen weekdays from 08:00 till 17:00 and Saturdays and public holidays from
\n09:00 to 14:00<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GANSBAAI LANDFILL<\/strong>
\n(builder\u2019s rubble, garden waste and
\ngeneral household waste) \u2013 <\/em>open weekdays from 08:00 till 18:00 and
\nSaturdays and public holidays from 08:00 to 15:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only Kleinmond Transfer station and the Hawston, Stanford
\nand Pearly Beach drop-off facilities accept small builder\u2019s rubble loads. Note
\nthat they will not accept loads of builders\u2019 rubble which are greater than 1
\nton load capacity or greater than 250mm in size or not clean. (i.e.
\ncontaminated with general waste or planks etc that probably originated from a
\nconstruction or demolition site). Large loads need to be disposed of at either
\nthe Gansbaai or Karwyderskraal landfill site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Karwyderskraal
\nLandfill site <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overstrand residents who make use of the Overberg District
\nMunicipality\u2019s (ODM) landfill site at Karwyderskraal, are reminded that they
\nonly accept builder\u2019s rubble, chipped garden
\nwaste and general household waste<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Residents, contractors or anyone who transports building
\nrubble, chipped garden refuse or any domestic waste must first register with
\nODM as a site user. Unless your name appears on the database, you will not be
\nallowed to dispose of any waste \u2013 even if you show up at the landfill site for
\nthe first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration forms are available form Ingrid Marti at
\nimarti@odm.org.za or at the Karwyderskraal weighbridge office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Karwyderskraal regional landfill facility is open
\nbetween 08:00 and 17:00 from Monday to Friday. It is closed on weekends, but
\nwill be accessible should a public holiday fall on a weekday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SAFETY MEASURES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Waste dumping at the landfill sites and drop-off facilities
\nwill be strictly controlled<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022\t<\/span>All occupants are required to wear their face mask at all times (no mask no entry) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022\t<\/span>An access control register will be complete upon entry (the register will be completed by the access control person and the details of all vehicle occupants is required).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022\t<\/span>Occupants are responsible for the offloading of their own waste and are requested to stop were shown, off load their waste and leave as quickly as possible after safely offloading their waste and refrain from touching any of the facility infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022\t<\/span>The 1.5 meter social distancing will be enforced by our on-site staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022\t<\/span>Should you or any of your occupants refuse to obey a lawful instruction from the site staff, you will be requested to leave immediately and you will denied any further access to the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022\t<\/span>The number of vehicles allowed access to site at any time may be restricted if required to comply with social distancing and site operational issues<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

REFUSE
\nREMOVAL<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Refuse removal will continue as per normal collection
\nschedule for the Greater Hermanus and Greater Gansbaai administrations. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Hangklip-Kleinmond area, refuse will be collected
\nas follows:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nMondays:
\nRooi Els, Kleinmond Sea Avenues, Kleinmond Mountain Avenues, Klein Berlyn and
\nHeuningkloof<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nTuesdays:
\nProteadorp, Overhills, Mountain View, Extension 6, Palmiet, Sunny Seas<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nWednesdays:
\nBetty\u2019s Bay and Mooiuitsig<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nPringle Bay<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please remember to place your bin on the pavement by
\n07:00. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each household is allowed to place one wheelie bin or
\nfour black bags (with the proviso that only one bag may contain garden waste)
\nwith domestic refuse on the sidewalk for removal in areas which the
\nMunicipality has not identified as a problem animal area. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Containers must be secured with baboon proof locking
\ndevices in all areas that the Municipality has identified as problem animal
