CONCERN OVER PARKING: St Peter\u2019s Church Council, is investigating a proposal in the suggested town plan for Hermanus that the land at the back of the church hall should become a public parking place. At present it is used for those attending functions at the church hall. Writing in his newsletter, the Rev. J. Alliston comments: \u201cWe are grateful to those who have already offered to lodge an objection to help in any other way.\u201d The number of cars this piece of land could take compared with other parking areas was relatively few, he writes. \u201cEven so, if the area were public it might prove a real inconvenience to those wanting to come to the hall.
