Any non-profit\/public-benefit organisation within the Overstrand municipal district is welcome to apply for funding by downloading and completing the relevant application forms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cApplicants need to specify the project for which funding is required,\u201d Serfontein said. \u201cThe project needs to be realistic and viable and has to be completed within the year following the handover of the funds. The application needs to indicate the organisation\u2019s target group (and the size of the target group) and the community that will benefit from the project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cApplicants will also be required to submit a three-minute video appealing to the Lighthouse 2 Lighthouse Ladies and the Overstrand community to raise funds for their specific project. The video will need to include information about the charity and the work it does in the Overstrand,\u201d Serfontein said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A compulsory briefing session will be held via zoom on Wednesday 13 July at 15:00. The link will be sent to all interested charitable organisations that are keen to apply. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
