The Winter Knights of Round Table 267 Hermanus geared up once again to bring warmth to thousands of underprivileged people in the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Winter Knights is a home-grown and hands-on Round Table Southern Africa Project adopted as an association Alignment Project in 2010. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The initial concept entailed members having to spend a few hours outside in winter, wearing light clothing, experiencing first-hand the burning cold suffered by so many less fortunate people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project has evolved over the years, with many Tables showing great initiative and forward thinking in their approach to their respective communities \u2013 everything from trolleys being filled at shopping malls to door-to-door collections, corporate donations, campaigns with big corporates and initiatives that evoke the passion of entire towns to rally behind the Winter Knights initiative. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
