Hermanus en al die omliggende dorpe bied uitstekende waarde vir geld en pronk met hope besienswaardighede vir reisigers op die passasierskip,\u201d aldus O\u2019Neill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Onderhandelinge met rolspelers in die passasierskip-bedryf, s\u00ea hy, het gevolg na aanleiding van die aanvraag van reisigers wat altyd nuwe plekke wil verken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plesierbote bied verskeie pakkette aan en dit word w\u00eareldwyd bemark. Die plesierboot-maatskappye stel programme op met verskillende aktiwiteite en besienswaardighede vir passasiers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die seisoen vir passasierskepe strek van November tot Mei. Passasierskepe sal in Walkerbaai anker gooi en passasiers sal met rubberbote, wat deel van die skip se toerusting is, na die Nuwe Hawe vervoer word. Owerhede skat tussen 300 en 1 500 reisigers sal aan land wil kom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Volgens O\u2019Neill is parkering in die hawe opgegradeer met die visie dat dit die beweging van toeristebusse sal vergemaklik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plaaslike gidse, wat deur die passasiersbote aangestel word, sal passasiers op uitstappies neem om walvisse te besigtig, haaiduik te doen of wyn te proe. Passasiersbote sal \u2019n Plan B daarstel vir gure weers\u00adomstandighede.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Overstrand se uitvoerende burgemeester, dr. Annelie Rabie, het aangedui sy sal binnekort met sakekamers vergader om te verseker die relevante ondernemings sal gereed wees om die toeriste te verwelkom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOns moet elke geleentheid aangryp om die hoeveelheid besoekers aan ons dorpe te laat toeneem, aangesien dit die plaaslike ekonomie kan help uitbrei  en broodnodige werksgeleenthede kan
