The innovative founder of Wages Lifestyle Clothing Company in Zwelihle, Hermanus started his business in February 2020 as a clothing brand, but has diversified into sneaker washing and colour restoration of clothing and shoes. He strives to guarantee customer satisfac-tion by delivering no less than the best. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Originally from the Eastern Cape, having relocated to the Western Cape for work purposes, Sibongiseni lost his job at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic and needed money to survive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He saw the need in his community for clothing colour repair, having heard so many complain of clothes losing its colour and fading with time. Despite having limited resources, people still want to look good when going out to work or elsewhere. So a widespread need for colour restoring signalled the perfect opportunity for Sibongiseni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His dream was to be able to manufacture his own fabric dye and grow his business to hire more people who need work after Covid-19. \u201cI enjoy working for myself and being able to focus on my company,\u201d he said. His proudest moments are when he gets positive feedback from customers who are satisfied. The shop is conveniently located at 374 Jikeleza Street, Zwelihle, so people don\u2019t have to go all the way into Hermanus itself to drop their clothing off.
