Inwoners van die buurt waar die probleem aangemeld is, het uit hul pad gegaan om die tegnici by te staan met koffie en wegneemetes. Die kragtoevoer was teen die aand weer aangeskakel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maar verlede week was dit weer die inwoners van die Swannierivier-omgewing wat aan die agterspeen gesuig het wat elektrisiteit betref. Volgens Theewaterskloof-munisipaliteit se munisipale bestuurder, Wilfred Solomons-Johannes, erken die munisipaliteit die frustrasie en ongerief wat dit vir inwoners van die geaffekteerde gebiede veroorsaak. \u201cOns verseker die gemeenskap dat ons voortdurend in kontak met Eskom is en verskeie klagtes ingedien het om die saak te probeer versnel,\u201d het Solomons-Johannes ges\u00ea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Volgens Eskom is die kragonderbreking die gevolg van veelvuldige foute waaraan tegnici in die gebied tans werk. \u201cTans wag tegnici op die aankoms van \u2019n voetstuk vir die mini-substasie, wat op pad is. Sodra die materiaal in Grabouw aankom, sal tegnici adviseer oor die geskatte tyd vir herstelwerk. Ons is in kennis gestel dat dit \u2019n groot taak gaan wees en weens die gespesialiseerde aard van die werk, sal dit \u2019n paar uur neem voordat herstelwerk afgehandel
