Henecke and Marquine Lukas of Atlantics Rugby Club had much to smile about when David Ralph of the South African chapter of Lord\u2019s Taverners handed a donation of sporting equipment over to the club recently. Lord\u2019s Taverners UK is Britain\u2019s largest sporting charity for disabled and disadvantaged children. The donation came about after Michael Charton proposed that the organisation donate some equipment to a local rugby club from the proceeds of an event they hosted. Ralph then met with Henecke and Lukas, who gave him a wish list of equipment the club needed. \u201cI then approached Performance Brands, who are the local agents for the Gilbert brand, and they supplied most of the equipment at a very competitive price. They even donated a few practice balls. The pole protectors were donated by SACS school in Cape Town and refurbished by a company called Sew Extreme outside Bot River. Morn\u00e9 du Plessis also signed a match ball that was presented to Henecke,\u201d Ralph explained. Henecke and Marquine Lukas of Atlantics Rugby Club had much to smile about when David Ralph of the South African chapter of Lord\u2019s Taverners handed a donation of sporting equipment over to the club recently. Lord\u2019s Taverners UK is Britain\u2019s largest sporting charity for disabled and disadvantaged children. The donation came about after Michael Charton proposed that the organisation donate some equipment to a local rugby club from the proceeds of an event they hosted. Ralph then met with Henecke and Lukas, who gave him a wish list of equipment the club needed. \u201cI then approached Performance Brands, who are the local agents for the Gilbert brand, and they supplied most of the equipment at a very competitive price. They even donated a few practice balls. The pole protectors were donated by SACS school in Cape Town and refurbished by a company called Sew Extreme outside Bot River. Morn\u00e9 du Plessis also signed a match ball that was presented to Henecke,\u201d Ralph explained.
